This was her first time ever going off road and the LX ended up being the perfect vehicle for the trip. She had no idea what to expect and I think this sealed the deal if an affordable J100 ever comes around. The only thing that stopped the LX570 is gas stations. Also here are some Instagram post with more pictures. Article will be up on RFD soonish.

How’d you take it up right to the ledge confidently? Does it have front facing camera view?

I was more worried about the clearance on the front lip than anything but in Hi mode and a spotter it was nooo issue at all.

Also, it has cameras everywhere. It even has mirror cameras and in 4low will tell you exactly where your wheels are going to go. Like I said, it’s hard to tell height from a camera though.

One thing I remember reading about the Land Cruiser is that it’s
very heavy
.

If you ever have a chance, look underneath one. Everything is massive and overbuilt. Hence why it is an object of desire for me.

Going to try to do some big trips in the future. The people down there are super cool and the trails are amazing. 72,000 acres and 350+ miles of trails.

This one is near 6000lbs and feels every bit of it. It feels like driving an actual tank.

It may even have been Top Gear that I saw it reviewed. Lots of car.

It’s one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had in a car. You don’t need to go fast to have a religious experience. Going slow and over things you shouldn’t can be as good.

And if you do it carefully you can do it in a normal car. But maybe not such big obstacles.

When the lady in the Razr pulled up next to me on the technical part of one trail and said “momma ain’t raised no bitch”, I knew I was doing it right. Well, that and people breaking there neck getting a second glance at what was traversing land normally left to the Razrs and Jeeps
